Counselling During the COVID-19 Pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are following the public health guidelines of the local, provincial and national governments, as well as guidelines from WorkSafeBC and our counselling associations.

We are committed to following safety protocols for the health and safety of our clients, counsellors and staff.

All nine of our counsellors are providing online and phone sessions. A number of them are also providing in-person sessions. (Details below.)

Online & Phone Sessions

WorkSafe BC recommends in-person counselling only when necessary. Therefore, all Steadfast Counsellors are continuing to conduct sessions by phone and online with a secure, video call. We believe that this is the most considerate option for one another and the health of others in our community; particularly as it’s possible for the COVID-19 virus to be present when someone does not show symptoms.

We have years of experience doing online sessions, and although it is a change from in-person sessions, we and our clients have found them to be equally supportive and beneficial.  If this is something you feel unsure about, please feel free to book a free 15 minute consultation to try it out

In-Person Sessions

We offer a limited number of 50-minute and 80-minute, in-person counselling sessions in each of our 4 locations (with enhanced safety protocols in place).
