My clients describe me as warm, empathetic, kind and easy to talk to. My role is to help you to tune into your own wisdom and to help you find the answers that will work in your life. You may be in a difficult or complex situation, but so much depends on how you are viewing that situation and what tools, resources and support you have. You may be stuck in a pattern or way of thinking that is not serving you. I would love to help you to see other possibilities and empower you to move towards the goals of your choosing.
I have experience in making a difference with the following concerns: anxiety, depression and other forms of mental illness, anger, self-worth, loss, relationship issues, life transitions, parenting, chronic illness/pain, past trauma, and workplace issues. I am open to helping you to deepen your understanding of whatever concern you bring, in an open, non-judgmental, and deeply compassionate way.
“I was struggling with an overwhelming sadness, depression and anger after my 23 year marriage came to an end through a divorce settlement. It was a very emotional and stressful time that basically paralyzed me from moving forward in any real way and affected my health and all aspects of my personal and professional life.
Sandy listened to me and gently helped me to see things in a very clear light. She shared her deep insights and gave me effective tools to deal with the intense emotions. After only a few sessions I felt a whole new world of opportunity opening up to me and a deep appreciation and gratefulness for my life.
If you are struggling with some personal issue I am sure that Sandy will understand and be able to help you through it to a new and happy day. She is totally great :)” – W. Sunshine Coast BC
“Since working with you, I am now talking more openly with my wife than ever before. You’re the only counsellor I’ve had who has helped me to go deeply inside and heal the past.” – P. Vancouver
“Sandy has been a lifeline. Talking with her has helped me to put the past behind me and accept myself in a new way. And I have been amazed at how much I like telephone counselling – her voice is very gentle and lets me focus on my thoughts in my own space without distraction.” – C. Ottawa
